Everyday Pride

This s a photographic journey through Pride in Norway — from small local gatherings, to public buildings and petrol stations, to fjords, mountain landscapes and village squares.

The project looks at how Pride has become part of everyday public life in Norway. Not only as celebration, protest or spectacle, but as something quieter and more complex: Teenagers walking through a small town, a rainbow flag on a municipal building, a small parade moving through a landscape of fjords and mountains.

Through quiet documentary images and portraits, Everyday Pride explores visibility, belonging and the changing meaning of community. Who gets to be seen? Who gets to take part? And what does it mean to belong to the Norwegian “we”?

This project will be continued in 2027.

Everyday Pride

This s a photographic journey through Pride in Norway — from small local gatherings, to public buildings and petrol stations, to fjords, mountain landscapes and village squares.

The project looks at how Pride has become part of everyday public life in Norway.
