Europe was exhibited at Fotografiens Hus in 2021.

I'm a photographer based in Bergen, Norway. My work spans photojournalism, documentary photography and long-term projects.

My personal work often explores everyday life and our relationship to the places we inhabit. Several of these projects have been presented in exhibitions, screenings and books in Norway and internationally.

For more than twenty years, I have worked as a photojournalist for Norwegian and international publications, including The New York Times, The New Yorker, Politiken, VG, Aftenposten, Dagens Næringsliv and Bergens Tidende. I have received 27 awards in the Norwegian Picture of the Year competition and was named Norwegian Photojournalist of the Year in 2018.
